The County of San Bernardino Department of Public Works Solid Waste Management Division, hereafter referred to as the Ã??CountyÃ??, is seeking proposals from interested and qualified organizations and firms (Ã??ProposersÃ?? or Ã??ConsultantsÃ??) to provide On-Call General Engineering Services. It is the objective of the County through this Request for Proposal (RFP) to award contracts to qualified Proposers, at the sole discretion of the County, to provide these Services for various issues arising in the CountyÃ??s disposal system (active landfills, transfer stations, and closed disposal sites). The intent is to choose up to four (4) firms to be used on an Ã??as neededÃ?? basis, to provide support for the CountyÃ??s capital improvement projects, including, but not limited to providing design services; construction support; equipment installation, modification and/or service; system(s) evaluations; and regulatory support. However, the County reserves the right to revise this intent at any time
