Item # 1:   ( 988  -  14 )   The County and the District plan to utilize contractors (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor(s)" or "Vendor(s)") to provide Debris, Erosion, and Sediment Control Services to assist in the prevention and removal of debris from County roads and flood control facilities for routine maintenance, public projects not exceeding $45,000, and emergency projects. It is anticipated that each contract awarded under this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) shall have an initial not-to-exceed amount of $500,000. Please note, however, as provided later herein, that an award of a contract does not guarantee any work or compensation under such contract.
